Hi, friends! Let's jump into the Friday Five. 2- Memory-making. We walked an impressive 21,000 steps in one day....yes, our feet hurt! A few years ago, I set a goal to take my mom somewhere twice a year. Sometimes it's a quick, easy trip; sometimes it's a bigger experience, but it's always special to have one-on-one time with my mom. Our next mother-daughter trip is to the beach. Hopefully without so many steps ;) I'm curious. Have you taken a mother-daughter trip with your mom or daughter? Reply here and tell me where you went! 3- Interesting. If you’d like a little help bringing more conversation, laughter, and connection to your table, my book, Around the Table, can help! 4- Yum. 5- Fun. ⭐ What did the baby Egyptian say when he got lost? I want my mummy! ⭐ Ann's mother has four daughters. Three of them are named April, May, and June. What is the fourth daughter's name? Ann. --------------------- A little reminder: "Mothers hold their children's hands for a short while, but their hearts forever." - Unknown Happy Mother's Day! Hi friends, As summer winds down, it's time to think about the new school year. Is your child feeling confident and ready? One of the best ways to help children feel confident is to teach them how to handle everyday social situations. When young people know how to introduce themselves, start and join conversations, show respect, and use good table manners, they're more comfortable- and that means they are confident and prepared.
